"Health Minister Urges Public to Follow COVID-19 Safety Protocols as Cases Rise"

As COVID-19 cases rise again in Pakistan, the Health Minister has urged the public to adhere strictly to safety protocols to curb the spread of the virus. Recent reports indicate an increase in the positivity ratio, with over 4% of tests returning positive results, signaling a potential resurgence of infections  

Government Measures and Public Guidance

In response to the uptick in cases, the government has reissued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that were effective during previous waves. These guidelines include wearing masks in crowded places, maintaining physical distancing, frequent handwashing, and avoiding large gatherings. Additionally, SOPs for government offices have been updated to ensure continued operations without compromising public health.
